 * Can I default the page to show the densest as the default?

 * Hi [@andys007](https://wordpress.org/support/users/andys007/),
 * Yes, you can set a default density to your table.
 * Go to **Table Builder** > **Layout & Responsiveness** > **Density **> **Compact**,
   then disable the **Allow user to change density**.

 * Hope this helps! Let us know if you have other questions.

 * Sorry, how do I get to Table Builder? Could you create a little video rather
   than a screen shot?
 * Thanks Andy

 * Brilliant, sorted thank you. When you migrate to the new App Builder will all
   the old tables etc be deleted as part of the housekeeping?
 * Thanks

 * Hi [@andys007](https://wordpress.org/support/users/andys007/),
 * You’re welcome! 😊

 * Yes. Since the legacy tools will be deleted from the plugin, you won’t be able
   to access the old tables created using those tools. They will also stop displaying
   properly if you added them to your pages via shortcode.
 * We suggest moving your old tables to the App Builder whenever possible, ideally
   before the Summer of this year.
 * Let us know if you have other questions. 😊

 * “We suggest moving your old tables to the App Builder”
 * Why is this necessary? Tables are just data. Why do the tables need to be “moved”?
 * I realize that accessing the tables would be different and I am attempting to
   replace the table access with the new tools. However I have several “real tables”
   and multiple SQL views that I use on the website. I would hope that these would
   remain usable when the “old tools” are removed.
 * Please explain!

 * Hi all,
 * It appears that there are some misconceptions regarding the deprecation of our
   legacy tools. Let me try to explain.
 * First of all, don’t panic. We are not going to delete any data!
 * There are two types of data from the standpoint of deprecation: the data from
   our repository tables and the data from your tables. Your table data will never
   be touched by us!
 * If the plugin stops using a repository table, it will be removed, but only if
   it is empty. Repository tables that contain data will not be deleted. So you
   decide when a repository table can be dropped.
 * Second, our goal was to abandon the legacy tools by the summer of 2025. This
   is not feasible. We will require more time. All of the legacy tool features have
   not yet been converted, and we will not be able to do so before the summer. We
   have even received requests from some users to keep using the outdated Table
   Builder. The old Table Builder may be undeprecated.
 * I hope this helps to de-stress the situation. We will post a roadmap on the plugin
   launch page beginning with the upcoming update to keep you informed.
 * Warm regards to all our users,
   Peter
