# Toggle menu sections in WP-admin

 * Large menus are a pain to manage in WP-admin. I regularly troubleshoot websites,
   and come across menus consisting of hundreds of items and a lot of hierarchy.
 * It would be a great help if it were possible to toggle a menu section (top level
   page + all pages below) so you have some kind of overview.

 * Well, for some websites it’s reality. This is not very constructive comment.

 * Even with a “megamenu”, hundreds of items would be a very poor way to organize
   content. Better to organize the pages into a few major categories, and provide
   an index or HTML sitemap page pointing to the “hundreds of items”.

 * Maybe you’re right, but you’re missing the point. The Menu page is hard to manage
   even with dozens of entries. It very quickly involves a lot of scrolling and 
   overview is lost.
