• My apologies if this has been asked and answered, I’ve been wading through posts and can’t find a recent solid answer to fix this.

Ages ago I didn’t care for the wordpress toolbar in the site so somehow turned it off. Now, ages later, I want to turn it back on and can’t figure out how I turned it off.

Possibly through updates whatever I accessed to turn it off is no longer available. I’ve got toolbars turned on in my profile but that doesn’t change it.

I thought about trying to add a php command to turn it on, something like “add_filter( ‘show_admin_bar’, ‘__return_true’ );” but I don’t want to blow up the current theme, don’t think that’s how I turned it off the first time, and am not very good at php so that could go south fast.

Any thoughts on how to find a control to turn the wordpress toolbar back on in a site it has been turned off in — for, um, a few years?

    Many thanks for any help.
