That person is no longer available to them. On first login I want to export all pages and posts to ensure I have a full back up of those items and then do a WP backup as well. * However, the Tools function is totally missing – there’s no import or export option there and nothing showing available tools. * The previous designer has totally rebranded the WordPress set up and it doesn’t look standard at all. * Is there a way to get the Tools function back into the dashboard so I can proceed with ensuring good backups before actioning the various updates on plugins and other things on the site? No good. There’s no such line in the functions.php file. I’m really stumped. I disabled the theme in the hope that it might revert to the default but it didn’t. I have updated WordPress and other plugins but the theme, when re-enabled, now doesn’t work. I feel like I’ve made a right royal mess of things and will have to engage someone just as l_bush mentioned. I’ve had to completely rebuild the site on another install.
