# Topic Edit Link Problem, Cannot Edit Threads On WordPress.org

 * Hard one to search this because it just comes up with WordPress Edit Posts screen
   related threads.
 * The issue is the Edit link on the left after posting on this website. It seems
   to re-direct me even moments after posting. I also get a message indicating the
   thread is closed but its not.
 * I assume its own but after a couple of weeks experiencing it I thought I best
   mention.

 * It’s that you’re hitting the spam filter and when your posts are flagged as spam
   then it may not be editable by you.
 * Just be patient and someone (like me) will come along and release your posting.
