Do not ping anyone like that, that’s not how these forums work and you do not get to ping people for personal support. That’s notification abuse when you do that, please do not repeat that again.

The forums are cached a great deal and that causes issues like that. That’s all it is usually. Also the count may be off if there is a spam or pending approval reply in a topic.
