# Trackback for Draft Posts

 * After adding a new post as a draft, there is no way to go back and add trackback
   URLs when it is time to publish the post. The only opportunity to send a trackback
   is when the draft is first created, which is usually not desirably if the post
   isn’t published right away.
    The trackback field needs to be present when editing
   existing posts, especially if they are still in the draft status.
