# Trackback problem

 * It seems impossible to trackback a post of my wordpress blog from another blog,
   what can I do?. If for instance try to ping a post from Haloscan I get the following
   error:
    Pinging [http://nightpassage.free.fr/wp-trackback.php/126…](http://nightpassage.free.fr/wp-trackback.php/126...)
   Malformed response: (Target does not appear to be a valid trackback URL). Then
   I have also tried from another blog but with no success. Can this depend from
   free.fr? thanks for any help

 * I also have problems with trackbacks with 1.01. sometimes it works, sometimes
   it doesn’t. Oddl, it orks better to TB with MT, than with other WP sites.

   is this fixed with 1.02?
