# Trackbacks and API

 * Is anyone able to post via the xmlrpc-API with trackbacks getting through it (
   I’m talking about trackbacks being send to another page, not other pages sendingt
   trackbacks to me)? There is a thread [here](http://wordpress.org/support/topic/41188)
   on problems with trackbacks when posting with ecto. But it doesn’t seem to be
   a specific ecto problem rather an API problem.
 * So, anyone out there who is posting through the API with trackbacks working? 
   In [my case](http://katzenbach.info/blog) trackbacks work fine when posting from
   the web interface but not from ecto or any other editor. Pings are OK, though.
 * Any ideas how to fix that?

 * I’m having exactly the same problem. Unfortunately, I’m rather new to WP and 
   PHP in general, so although I looked at xmlrpc.php, I have not the faintest idea
   what’s broken in there so it doesn’t work.
