Hi @guavacreations,
We’ve tested AST with the latest WordPress 6.9 update, and the tracking information is still displaying correctly in the Shipped/Completed emails.
To help us pinpoint what’s happening on your setup, could you please confirm the following:
- Are you using any email customizer plugin (e.g., Kadence, Email Template Customizer, YayMail, etc.)?
- Are you overriding the Completed Order email template in your theme or child theme?
(For example: /woocommerce/emails/customer-completed-order.php)
These are the two most common reasons tracking info stops appearing.
Once we have this information, we can guide you through the exact fix.
Thanks!
Thanks for your quick response. I am using the YayMail email customizer plugin and as far as I am aware, I haven’t overridden the order completed email template (I haven’t changed any settings – they are all the same as before when everything was working well).
Hope this assists.
Vickie
I have just looked further into the Completed Order template and can confirm that I haven’t overridden it. The only edits I have done to this email template are through YayMail.
Cheers,
Vickie
Hi Vickie,
Please follow these simple steps to show the tracking info in your Completed Order email:
- Go to WP Admin → YayMail → Email Templates
- Click on Completed Order (Customer)
- Inside the editor, click on the Hook block (from the left side)
- Set the hook value to this:
woocommerce_email_before_order_table
- Click Save
- Now click Send Test Email and check your inbox
✅ Your tracking information should now appear in the email.
If it still doesn’t show, please let us know and we’ll guide you further.
Thanks!
Thanks for sending through those instructions.
The only Hook block I can find to click on is under the WooCommerce tab (on the left side) and when I click on it nothing happens. So I have not been able to set the hook value as suggested.
Is there anything else you could suggest? I should point out that I don’t have the Pro Version.
Hi @guavacreations ,
In the free version of YayMail, the Hook block won’t open until you drag it into the email template.
Please do this:
Go to YayMail → Email Templates → Completed Order
On the left, under WooCommerce, find the Hook block
(see attached screenshot)
https://www.awesomescreenshot.com/image/57851163?key=f84b1b390350d4480c6b44964e11cb37
Drag & drop the Hook block into the email on the right
After dropping it, the settings will appear
Set the hook to: woocommerce_email_before_order_table
Click Save and send a test email
This will make the tracking information appear.
Let me know if you need any help!
Thank you, it worked! Really appreciate your support with this.
Many thanks,
Vickie
