Transaction Fee Deduction Calculation Issue

Hi , So I was testing woopayments in sandbox mode in my site & when I placed an order of 52dhs (UAE) with local pickup & card as payment method … I find in woocommerce > orders > order that transaction fee is 2.26dhs instead of 2.5dhs since according to this 2.9% + 1 Dhs is cut from each local transaction…
I am just confused on why the math is not spot on , I noticed other instances also where deduction was more although this one shows dedcution is less…
Can this be due to sandbox mode ?

I redid the maths and your calculation appears correct me.
Here are my steps:
Your order total is 52.
2.90% percetange of 52 = 1.508
1.508 + 1 = 2.508.
Which is rounded to 2.5I can see that your screenshot shows 2.26 as a transaction fee.
Is this consistent for all orders?Are you using any code or plugin that might affect the order data?

Hi , I disabled all plugins and removed all functions.php code as well.
Placed an order of 62.50dhs and transaction fee was 2.53dhs but should have been 2.8dhs according to my calculations.
So unfortunately the issue persists.

This will help me determine if a tax rate is involved in the calculations.To help you further, Iβd like to understand more about your setup.

I have disabled the Woocommerce > Seetings > Enable tax rates and calculations(FYI I don’t remember enabling it myself ever). So I do not have a tax tab which means tax calculation cannot be the issue.

Yes, the difference youβre noticing in the transaction fees is due to a 10% discount on Payment Processing Fees as part of a promotional offer. This is why the calculated fee is slightly lower than expected.
