# Transferring wordpress.com to wordpress.org problems

 * Hi, have been operating on wordpress.com for a year at [http://www.vegmonkey.co.uk](http://www.vegmonkey.co.uk),
   which has had the nameservers at ‘telivo’ pointed at it, from [http://www.vegmonkey.wordpress.com](http://www.vegmonkey.wordpress.com).
 * I have recently bought hosting with ‘hosting unlimited’ and used fantastico to
   download wordpress.org’s software. My problem is that i am using the same domain
   name. So i disassociated the nameservers with the .com website so that vegmonkey.
   co.uk is now not attached to anything.
 * I need to know how to connect it to my host, in which i have downloaded the wordpress.
   org software. Do i have to attach new nameservers? I can’t import my site unless
   i have one#!

 * Yes, you need to use the new host’s nameservers. They must have a tutorial for
   this but it is pretty easy.
 * You go to where ever your domain is registered. That is where you put in the 
   new information which you get from your new host.
