# Transition and width not functioning

 * Hi,
 * I’m experiencing 2 issues with wowslider.
 * I’ve created a slideshow and changed some basic stuff. I also managed to change
   the transparency of the description :).
 * Although i’m having issues with the transition. I set it to slide and when i 
   check it locally it’s functioning. On my wordpress site however it is not. It
   seems to be a weird form of fade transition.
 * Also i can’t seem to make it any wider then the biggest default setting (1024
   ×768) no matter what i try to set at custom.

 * WOWSlider works correctly: “basic” effect between images and “slide” effect for
   captions.
 * If problem still persists, please write us what browser you use.
 * About image size. Actually, markup of your page has the following settings:
 *     ```
       .site {
           margin: 0 auto;
           max-width: 68.5714rem;
           overflow: hidden;
       }
       ```
   
 * Of course, WOWSlider couldn’t be bigger than container where you added it.
