# Translate shortcode labels?

 * I would like to know if it is possible to translate the link text ‘Older posts’
   in the shortcode output?
 * I have searched for the string in the language files without succes

 * The “Older posts” string seems something that comes from WordPress default navigation.
   Have you tried switching your WordPress installation to your language of choice?

 * I looked up the translation status ([https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/teams/](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/teams/))
   and it seems that Danish is 100% translated?

 * Hello, i’m also trying to do this translation and i would like to know if you
   are sure that the issue is coming from WordPress because when i select the pagination
   type ” Page numbers with “Next” and “Previous” page links ” there is no translation
   issue.

 * Confirmed.
    Pagination type: ”Page numbers with “Next” and “Previous” page links”
   translates (but doesn’t look good)
 * “Older post and newer postlinks” is not translated.
 * ‘By’ does not translate.
