    Hey,
first of all i would like to express my appreciation to your plugin and efforts maintaing it. it is very useful.

For some reason i can’t translate all strings shown by the plugin – some do not show up on Loco translate and other that do wont show the translated text.

    Please see attached screenshot:

As mentioned, im using Loco Translate. WP and Ecommerce Product Catalog are updated to the latest version. also, i have tried the ‘sync’ option within loco translate, which had no effect.

    Please advise.

    Hi @lonares,

Thank you for using the eCommerce Product Catalog plugin!

Please use the translation project here: https://translate.ww.wp.xz.cn/projects/wp-plugins/ecommerce-product-catalog/

All the strings from the screenshot are there to translate.

    Hey ndre,
i have just tried it but had no change. even though the string is translated, it doesn’t show up translated on the front end. also, there are some who are not on the list in the file, for example, “product name”.

    Hi @lonares,

What is the language that you are translating to?

    Hebrew.

Thank you. I checked it out and here the blue box says:

Translations for the readme are published almost immediately. The initial language pack for the plugin will be generated when 90% of the Stable (latest release) sub-project strings have been translated (currently 12%).

Here you can see the strings with the product name.

If you don’t want to translate 90% (or wait until somebody else translates it), you can export the translation file on the bottom of the screen.

Thank you very much for your check.
so you are saying that if it is not translated 90% and more it wont display? I’m not sure i understood the terms mentioned in your quote.

I have tried the files who came with the plugin (po and mo) as well as downloading the files as you explained. i can see it is located in the right path.

The string “product name” is translated on the file but the translated text isn’t displayed. some other like “QUANTITY” for example also doesn’t show up on the list.

Yes, the translation file is automatically generated when at least 90% of the strings are translated.

Here you can see the strings with the quantity. Please note that you can use the filter option on the top of the table to find the strings.

You can check the file in notepad to find out if the string is translated. If it is translated in the file and doesn’t show up, it is placed incorrectly on the server.
