Since last Update the plugin I use to translate to German keeps saying that AWPCP usees the function load_textdomain instead of load_plugin_textdomain and it can therefore not work with it.

Is there any way to solve this?

As you do nat have a german translation included, it’s the only way I can keep it up to date.

    P.S.
I would be happy to share the translation with you for future releases as I am a native speaker and I’m always keeping it up to date with every release.
But now I cannot do it anymore.

Sorry – found the solution now…

The error massage still appears, so the problem with the wrong function seems to be still there, but this was not the issue why i couldnt work on the translations.

This was was just because of the filename in upper case letters (.po and .mo files) that bothered the plugin.

So I can continue working on the translations now.

    Hi martinopitz,

Yes, you definitely need to pay attention to the case of the file names. All of the tips you need to follow are outlined here as well: http://awpcp.com/quick-start-guide/#qs-translate

Please let me know if you have any other questions or issues!

And yes, if you want to share the German translation with us, we’d be happy to include it for future releases! Contact us here to send it: http://awpcp.com/contact/
