 * Hi there,
 * I have a translator plugin which once worked fine. I updated to the most recent
   version of WP a while ago, but hadn’t checked if the translator still worked.
 * All this time later, I’ve tried using it and it’s coming up with a strange error.
   Any ideas people?

   homepage.

 * You don’t read (carefully)…
    I didn’t say anything about support. You should 
   have read the Requirements: ” 1. **cURL** should be installed in your system 
   and available from PHP. Most systems have it installed and enabled by default.“
 * And now compare it with your error message:
    “**CURL**OPT_FOLLOWLOCATION **cannot
   be activated** when in safe_mode or…”

 * The plugin has previously worked for two years and I’ve not done anything with
   the PHP, as I’m a novice user and wouldn’t know how… Do you think the CURL thing
   would be simple for a newbie like me to deal with?

 * No. That’s a server issue. Hosts are changing setup, software etc. more often
   than you’d ever imagine.
 * Ask your host what did they change around the time when it stopped working.
