I had a problem with the transparent header in that it was transparent on the desktop verwion but for the tablet and mobile versions it has a white background and sits above the background image.

While searching for solutions, I found this one:
    https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/problem-with-transparent-header-mobile/
I tried it out and it worked – set the background overlay for the header to any value with an opacity and the problem is solved.

You have to do this twice, once for mobile and again for tablet, but that solved it.

I must say it’s a bit disappointing that this problem appears to have been reported over two years ago and still isn’t fixed – anyway, hopefully it will be now

  • Hi @tonyhost, sorry for the delay.

There’s no known issue related to the Transparent Header. Transparent Header can be activated only on Desktop, Mobile, or both. Refer to this screenshot, please.

While there’s an option to give the Transparent Header color, it doesn’t mean that the Transparent Header doesn’t work. It still works, it will just background color. If you haven’t checked it already, please head over to this doc to know more about how the Transparent Header works.

I hope that clarifies and clears any confusion you may have. Let us know if you need any help, otherwise please mark the topic as Resolved.

    Kind regards,
    Herman 😊

    Hi,

Thanks for replying. The problem I had was that, although it’s called a transparent header, the default settings are that it is opaque. I posted this because I found that more than a little counterintuitive and it seems other people have done too as I found another post asking the same question that I linked to.

I’ve marked it as resolved now.
