The transparent header option only works on the homepage. In case you need it for the other pages you can check the suggestions from this doc https://docs.themeisle.com/hestia/how-to-make-hestia-navbar-transparent-for-other-pages

If the transparent header doesn’t work on the homepage, this might indicate another problem. There shouldn’t be need for any additional JS.
Please check if the issue is related to any of the other plugins you might be using. To do this safely, temporarily disable other plugins, and leave just the Hestia theme active, by following the steps provided here: https://docs.themeisle.com/wordpress/theme-doesnt-work-as-expected-troubleshooting-guide
