# Trouble creating full-width responsive header

 * Hi awesome people,
 * I am trying to create a full-width responsive header using an image but cannot
   for the life of me get it to extend the whole page (there is a bout 10px on both
   margins).
 * I am using the standard…
 *     ```
       width: 100%;
       margin: 0 auto;
       ```
   
 * I have tried messing with the margins and even increasing the width percentage,
   but no luck so far. If anyone has advice to offer I would greatly appreciate 
   it.

 * There’s no way to help with something like this without a link to your site.
 * Alternatively, try using a browser tool like Firebug to see what’s creating those
   margins.

 * My site ([buildthefire.com](http://buildthefire.com)) currently is not responsive
   as I am trying to add that functionality to it. I have been developing it in 
   a text editor, with the help of Firebug actually, before I add it on there. Here’s
   a glimpse at the php:

 * It looks like you are using Quintus theme?

 * Are you aware that all of your changes to theme files will be erased when the
   theme is updated? You really should be using a child theme to avoid that…
