# Trouble installing wordpress on localhost

 * I’m having some problems installing wordpress on a localhost computer.
 * When I run the wp-admin/install.php I get the page saying that the ‘PHP no running’
   error message, and it is.
 * I’ve checked my installation thoroughly and php is there installed and running
   perfectly, because it works with other apps, but not in this case.
 * Please help me figure out what is wrong.
 * I’m running W7 64b,on a Phenon 4 and 4GB of RAM.

 * I’m getting “Packets out of order” and thought I had installed everything correctly
   as well. LOCALHOST can’t find the site, i’ve put in in it’s own directory, and
   installed wordpress in the same folder, and set up a database in MAMP, and two
   days ago it worked for a test,and now nothing. I get “Packets out of order” and
   have spent about 10 hours on this. And since I don’t have a degree in web development
   and planned to use WORDPRESS because I don’t have a degree in web development,
   all of this has been quite overwhelming. I thought I would be able to simply 
   download wordpress, choose a theme, build a site, then upload it later. Very 
   very frustrating. I’m running Snow Leopard on a MAC.
