 * I’m new at wordpress. I’ve installed wordpress3.0.1 using localhost. After that
   I saw plugins(akismet) update. And I install that.After that It has said to me
   that “Akismet is almost ready. You must enter your Akismet API key for it to 
   work”. **My question is how and where I get my API key?**Another things I want
   to know that I visit my new site at [http://localhost/foldername(name](http://localhost/foldername(name)
   of folder where I installed the wordpress)
    **My question is without using localhost
   how can I visit my new site?(I mean though which address other people can visit
   my page?)** Please help me.

 * 1. akismet API key is obtained at wordpress.com
 * 2. You use your external IP address. You may have to set up port forwarding in
   your router to do that. Or you can use a service like dyndns to get a free domain
   name that routes to your external IP. But you have to have your server set up
   to allow external traffic.
