Title: Truncated RSS Posts Last modified: August 18, 2016 --- # Truncated RSS Posts * [omikami](https://wordpress.org/support/users/omikami/) * (@omikami) * [18 years, 8 months ago](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/truncated-rss-posts/) * Hi! * I’m sort of a newbie an I have a question… * I use the tag in my WordPress posts to truncate my posts on my blog because some of the posts are extremely long (prevents extra scrolling for those just skimming) and also because I read somewhere Google counts it as duplicate content and penalizes sites for duplicate content. * What I noticed is that when I truncate my posts, my rss feed also gets truncated. I see the (more) link, which is cool but my question is this: * Is it possible to have truncated posts on my blog, yet have my rss feed show the entire post?
