# Twitter Error

 * Thanks for this great plug-in!
 * I got the Facebook and Google logins working no problem but am getting this error
   on attempting a Twitter login at [Pipeline Observer](http://www.pipelineobserver.ca):
 * > The website encountered an error while retrieving [http://pipelineobserver.ca/login/?action=wordpress_social_authenticate&provider=Twitter&redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fpipelineobserver.ca%2F&redirect_to_provider=true](http://pipelineobserver.ca/login/?action=wordpress_social_authenticate&provider=Twitter&redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fpipelineobserver.ca%2F&redirect_to_provider=true).
   > It may be down for maintenance or configured incorrectly.
 * Have done a few other Twitter apps for sign-ons for other sites/platforms and
   the Twitter app settings appear OK.

 * Ever solved this? I am still having problems with twitter.
 * “Authentification failed. The user has canceled the authentication or the provider
   refused the connection. “
 * “Authentication failed! Twitter returned an error. 401 Unauthorized.”
