# Twitter feed without an app?

 * Am I missing something or do I now have to set-up an app within each of my client’s
   twitter accounts to stream their tweets to a feed a plugin on their website? 
   Do I have to do this for each, individual twitter feed account? Can i no longer
   pick up a feed purely from the account username as I used to do?

 * It wouldn’t be a necessity to have an app for each of your client accounts. One
   app can be used for multiple user timelines and multiple websites.
 * Something to take into consideration are the rate limits – Twitter allows 180
   requests per 15 minute time frame, per access token.

 * Hi,
 * Thanks for your response. So if I create the app in my own twitter account, I
   can then use it to feed any number of other twitter accounts in to different 
   websites, so long as I am aware of the total tweet traffic being routed through
   my app?
