# Two Issues: Height/Width Shortcode Does Not Work & Double Controller on Andriod

 * First off, this is the best combination of ease of use and comprehensive features
   of any video plugin I have tried over the years and that is a long time.
 * I do have two issues, though.
 * One, when using the Height and Width parameters within the post shortcode, they
   both vanish and are not processed when the post is saved. The age-old story of
   WordPress when it comes to handling quotation marks and apostrophes within a 
   post. I have tried it quotation marks, apostrophes and without either, but it
   still not save within the post. This is an a issue, as my client’s videos are
   of differing size and I need to be able to size them within the post and not 
   just from the default settings.
 * Two, using an MP4 file encoded with H.264 works flawlessly across browsers and
   works well with Android phones. However, on the Andriod platform, it will show
   both the plugin’s built-in player controller, as well the default player controller
   for Andriod. This looks odd for the user, as well as disabling any use of the
   controller’s functions, such as pausing the video or making it full-screen. It
   rather emulates a Z-index issue in CSS that way.
 * I did disable the plugin’s controller options under Settings, but that also disables
   it for all platforms, making it impossible to use any controller functions on
   a desktop browser.
 * Is there some setting that I might be overlooking, or some JS patch that could
   applied to check for and disable the plugin’s controller when the video is being
   loaded on a mobile device?

 * BTW, I do have Native Controls disabled for mobile devices under Settings.

 * First, I apologize for the slow response. Usually I get an email every time someone
   posts on this forum, but this new system doesn’t seem to do that.
 * It looks like in the current version of Video.js, if the Native Controls option
   is checked then you’ll see the problem you’re describing. I’m going to test out
   a newer version and see if they’ve dealt with the problem. But if you’ve disabled
   it and you still see the problem my first guess is you’re seeing a cached page.
   Can you post a link to a page that demonstrates the problem so I can try it on
   my own Android device?
 * I can’t duplicate the height and width issue. I’ve never seen anyone have a problem
   with using any number of attributes in the shortcode. Can you post a screenshot
   of what the shortcode looks like before you save it?
