    1. Anything typed in “Directories to exclude” doesn’t get saved (doesn’t show up in the text box and isn’t saved anywhere in the #_options table)

    2. Performing a quick scan works but the full scan hangs at “Parsing the list of files”.
Disabling the session and temp directories doesn’t work and the console only shows “WP CERBER: PHP MEMORY 256M” over and over, no errors.
The only non-wordpress folder in the installation is awstats’ stats folder with an .htaccess requiring basic authentication. I removed the htaccess but it still hangs.
I also tried turning off open_basedir, but no dice either.

Running WP Cerber Security 7.0. in Standard mode on WordPress Version 4.9.6.
Newly installed with only one post, no pages and two plugins. (Cerber and Maintenance version 3.6.1 by fruitfulcode)
    Php version 7.2 on Apache.

  • I have the same “2.” issue. I have 512 Mo, but full scan doesn’t work either for me.

Same problem – any fix ?

    Hi!

How many files are shown as “Files to scan”? What hosting are you running your site on? It seems that your hosting plan is rigidly limited in resources.

It says 2075 files to scan.

The server is a VPS with 2GB of ram that pretty much always has 750MB~1GB free all the time.

I’ve been doing tests on that server and when it was running on nginx and php 7.0 the scan was able to run. After I reinstalled everything completely from scratch including the website, but this time running on Apache and php 7.2, it doesn’t work. My problem would probably be an Apache or php configuration.

After the latest update (7.2) it worked.
