Yes, you can use two slider on same page with two different categories.
I guess you have assigned same category to all post. Please share your site link so we can give you proper suggestion.

we have checked your theme, Please make sure you have add shortcode in text editor rather than visual.
Please share your shortcode. if possible then try to type shortcode manually rather then paste it because sometimes it contains html special characters.

The columns and the structure of the home page I created it with the Elementor plugin (page builder)
I removed the “shortcode” block and inserted the code in the “text editor” block
1° slider
[recent_post_slider category=”217” design=”design-1″ limit=”8″]
2° slider:
[recent_post_slider category=”210” design=”design-1″ limit=”8″]
But…. not work: view only 217 category

Again the same problem: the slides tend to disappear!
I have pasted the code in “text” mode as recommended but the problem persists.
Even a slider disappeared from the Italian home page after I changed the English! (two separate pages)
