# Type display & quick edit

 * We have two Job Types – “Pre-Approved” and “Government Approved Role”. In the
   general Jobs list we need to only show “Government Approved Role”. How can this
   be achieved? It doesn’t appear that your shortcodes allow that?
 * Secondly, in the Jobs list in the backend of wordpress, we need to be able to
   bulk edit a number of posts, for example in exactly this situation, we need to
   change 20 job postings from “Pre-approved” to “Government Approve Role”. Why 
   does the jobs board not have the WordPress native “quick edit” functionality,
   and can this be activated?

 * You could use [jb_jobs] shortcode with different type=”{job type ID here}” arguments.

 * Unfortunately, there are visual changes in the Jobs List Table so the Quick Edit
   action isn’t able because there can be occurred some incompatibility issues.

 * Hi,
 * Opening this thread again – regardless of the “quick edit” functionality, is 
   there another way to bulk edit jobs? We now have hundreds of jobs on our platform
   so it’s really a problem this feature isn’t available. Is there a workaround (
   including custom) that we can look at that would work with your plugin?

 * You could try to temporarily comment this line

 * After your bulk edit jobs please uncomment this line.
 * Please make the full site’s backup before the commenting lines and bulk edition.

 * Thank you, I will try that. We also need to add a series of custom fields to 
   the job submission, and front end job pages. Things like “Number of hours per
   week”, “Essential qualifications” etc. I notice this thread already: [https://wordpress.org/support/topic/customising-post-job-form/](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/customising-post-job-form/)
 * To add these custom fields, I should take the same approach to edit the job-submission.
   php file or is there an alternative way of adding custom fields?
