 * I am using Darren Hoyt’s Ultimate Baseball Theme for a sports website. One of
the features allows for the upload of a photo for the Lead Sory section of the
   home page.
 * I followed all the directions and got the following error:
 * Lead Story Image changes saved.
 * _* Unable to create upload dir manually, please create: /home/sportsm6/public\
   _html/pawsoxblog//home/sportsm6/public\_html/pawsoxblog/wp-content/uploads
    *
Unable to upload file. Unable to save to the following location: /home/sportsm6/
   public\_html/pawsoxblog//home/sportsm6/public\_html/pawsoxblog/wp-content/uploads/
   ultimatebaseball/Pawsox.gif
 * The folders for these files are already created. I have read that others have
the same problem but have not found a solution.
 * Anyone using this? Any suggestions? Thanks!

 * Might be a bit late, but I just found this …
 * I had the same problem, but found a solution. I am using the german version of
wordpress, so I might have a problem to know the english wording used for the
section, but I can tell you what to do and probably it helps you or anyone else
   to solve the issue.
 * First thing: You need to give your uploads-folder on the server the authorization
   777.
 * After that: You have to go to the admin section of your wordpress blog. There
you search for the “settings”.. The last point in the list in german is “Verschiedenes”(
might be “miscellaneous” in english”). You enter there and will see two lines.
First one shows the file where to save the uploads (should be “wp-content/uploads”).
 * In the second line, there should be nothing written. Enter the absolute path
   to your uploads-directory, for example:
 * [http://www.yourdomain.com/wp-contents/uploads](http://www.yourdomain.com/wp-contents/uploads)
 * Instead of [http://www.yourdomain.com/](http://www.yourdomain.com/) enter the
   complete path of your blog.
 * After you save this, go back to your themes options and upload the header image.
   This will solve the issue.
