anyone else been experiencing major unauthorized changes to files in the current 51.4 version. I have had every one of my sites had this happen. I use a plugin to restore the files to the repository version. but this should not be happening with BPS.

Pot files being set back to the 7/15/14 version, security log php being changed and so on.

I think I caught changes starting to happen on one of my sites tonight and no more have happened just yet.

Not sure what help I can offer. In the email that you sent to us directly you stated this was a Wordfence problem. If Wordfence is malfunctioning then you should be asking Wordfence about this.

Answers to questions asked in your email:
plugin-install.php is a standard WordPress Core file in the wp-admin folder. If you want to check if that file has been altered then download the WordPress zip file and check the default /wp-admin/plugin-install.php file against your plugin-install.php file that may or may not have been tampered with. Most likely Wordfence is just malfunctioning since several files that would not normally be a target for a hacker are being falsely reported as having unauthorized changes.
