# Uncaught Error?

 * I’m getting this error after going to the ‘console’ section on Google Dev Tools:
 * `Uncaught (in promise) Error: The message port closed before a response was received.`
 * I have heard through other sources, however, that this might be due to a chrome
   extension fault rather than on the website.
 * Could you advise, please?

   using the **Headers Security Advanced & HSTS WP **plugin.
 * I will try to help you as best as I can, the plugin version 4.8.89 fixes the 
   issues you are experiencing with the console log.
 * the issue you are experiencing is an issue with the extensions installed on chrome.
 * To solve this issue, first toggle off all the installed extensions in your chrome
   browser. Then reload the page and check if the issue is resolved. Now turn on
   the extensions one by one and keep checking the page by reloading after enabling
   an extension.
    _Here is the list of those extensions which causes unchecked runtime.
