 * Since about 2 weeks ago my website has not worked properly. It started with Header
errors out of the blue. I saw updates were available so I updated each one seperately,
that did not fix the problem. I deactivated all the plug ins, the reactivated
each seperately, I cleared the cache, deleted WP Super Cache. Nothing worked.
Hostgator could not help. I installed Shield plug in and it fixed the problem,
but then I could see the front page of my website, but the pages would not load,
only white. I contacted Hostgator again and they deactivated all the plugins
and reactivated each seperately, still would not work. I reactivated Shield and
now I receive this error which is similar to the original error. Notice: Undefined
   offset: 0 in /home3/debncatz/public_html/wp-includes/taxonomy.php on line 1903.
Now though I have the error and cannot access the pages. I can see every thing
fine, with no errors in my dashboard. I have cleared the cache multiple times
and tried Firefox and Chrome. I do not write code and am very confused at this
point. I really need help because my website is effectively down.
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Fundefiend-offset-errors%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)
   to see the link]_

 * The problem is in the core files of wordpress not plugins, So you can try to
re-install the current version of your wordpress.
By going to Dashboard > Updates
   > Re-install

 * Hi [@debncatz](https://wordpress.org/support/users/debncatz/).,
 * Try [downloading WordPress](https://wordpress.org/download/) again, access your
server via [SFTP or FTP](https://codex.wordpress.org/FTP_Clients), or a file
manager in your hosting account’s control panel, and delete then replace your
copies of everything except the `wp-config.php` file and the `/wp-content/` directory
with fresh copies from the download. This will effectively replace all of your
core files without damaging your content and settings.
    Some uploaders tend to
be unreliable when overwriting files, so don’t forget to delete the original
   files before replacing them.

 * Hi Rajan, I do not understand how to do this. I have logged into the cPanel on
Hostgator for my account. I don’t know where to find WordPress to download it
   again.

 * Ok, I have downloaded it, then I went to Files, File Manager and Up loaded it.
Now what do I do? Sorry for needing my hand held, but I really do appreciate
   it.

 * Rajan, I attempted following the video you suggested but it is out of date and
the backup program was no longer available. I looked for a more recent video
but then got stuck on the backup because I have a tablet and do not have cloud,
etc. storage. I am not familiar with ftp servers but tried following the directions.
I have not made any progress, I am still receiving errors and the pages will
not load. This seems very difficult. Is there an update coming out that may fix
this? I saw a post that other wordpress users had an issue with the last update,
too. Is there someone that can walk me through the process by phone?
