# undefined function: update_user_cache

 * i have just downgraded(!) from wp1.5.2 to wp2. backed up files and uploaded wp2.
   i get:
    Fatal error: Call to undefined function: update_user_cache() in /usr/
   www/users/xxxx/sc1/wp-settings.php on line 92
 * AAARGHHH!
 * any insight or fixes HIGHLY appreciated. this is the company website and when
   they find its down i’ll be mdannatt pressed too!

 * “update_user_cache” appears on line 92 for 1.5.2’s wp-settings.php, but not WP
   2.0’s. That means you didn’t delete all the old files (except for wp-content 
   and wp-config.php) when you added the new files.

 * For some reason when I unzipped the 2.0 file the wp-settings.php file didn’t 
   show up. (Was able to duplicate this problem on three desktops and a laptop).
 * Unzip it again and see if it’s there then over write the one left from 1.5.2.
   That fixed it for me.
