# Undefined variable message since most recent plugin update

 * Hello,
 * I updated Jetpack yesterday and now have this error message on the backend “Undefined
   variable $social_initial_state in /www./xyzsite.com_595/public/wp-content/plugins/
   jetpack/class.jetpack-gutenburg.php on line 776” and some other stuff on the 
   next line.
 * It seems to me that this is not a plugin conflict but a conflict with Gutenberg,
   correct?
 * Does anyone have any insight?

 * We’re aware of this issue<span style=”box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px; padding:
   0px;”>, and the development team is [tracking it on GitHub here](https://github.com/Automattic/jetpack/pull/38781).
   The fix should be released with our next point release for Jetpack,</span> which
   is 13.7.1.
 * Please keep an eye out for that and make sure to update your plugin as soon as
   theses changes are made public.
