 * With the last update I got the following error message displayed on my website:
 * Warning: Undefined variable $leftnavicon in /customers/f/1/d/foreningenspiran.
   se/httpd.www/wp-content/plugins/quick-event-manager/legacy/quick-event-manager.
   php on line 1940 Warning: Undefined variable $rightnavicon in /customers/f/1/
   d/foreningenspiran.se/httpd.www/wp-content/plugins/quick-event-manager/legacy/
   quick-event-manager.php on line 1947
 * I have inactivated all other Plugins – the problem is still there. What can I
   do?

 * [@jdembowski](https://wordpress.org/support/users/jdembowski/) I would never
   share login with anyone but a moderator on this site. I thought I took all precautions
   needed, sorry for my mistake.

 * When I try troubleshooting myself it looks ok on the frontend when I on QEM Settings,
   Calender, leave Navigation Labels empty and choose the arrows for previous and
   next month the Plugin works. So that’s good, but something goes wrong when I
   want to type in my text in the Navigation Labels.

 * Hi [@snaaran](https://wordpress.org/support/users/snaaran/)
 * Sorry you are seeing this message in the admin front end.
 * First can I explain the message is a Warning, not an Error. Warnings are a message
   really of use only to developers only and production website should not be set
   up to display Warning. This link explains one way of turning off Warning displays–
   [https://fullworks.net/docs/plugins-general/troubleshooting-plugins-general/php-notices-and-warnings/](https://fullworks.net/docs/plugins-general/troubleshooting-plugins-general/php-notices-and-warnings/)
 * So being a Warning it does not impact functionality.
 * No change was made to this area in the last release, but QEM does have quite
   a few ‘undefined’ variables in the settings and this variable relates to the
   Calendar settings.
 * To resolve this ( without hiding the warning ) you can try the following
 * Settings>Event Manager>Calendar and then SAVE
 * This is likely to allocate the variable and clear the Warning.
 * If it doesn’t please share a screenshot of the Calendar Settings ( you can use
   an image share URL here ) so I can reproduce the setup that creates the Warning

 * Sorry just seen your other post which indicates how I can reproduce the error.
   I will check that out.

 * OK I can create the Warning if I use None as arrows – is that what you are experiencing?

 * On this site we use the plugin Simple Membership. So user’s login on the site
   and will see the warning, not just web master.
 * When I choose to fill in navigation labels with “Föregående” as previous and ”
   Nästa” as next, any use that instead of nav arrows the warning appears. It came
   with the latest update.

 * Sorry I am going to repeat myself here as I’m not sure you fully understood.
 * 1. Warnings and Notice should NOT be displayed on a productions site, you need
   to turn them off – there are hundreds of articles on the web on how to do so –
   if you have difficulty then your host should be able to assist.
 * 2. Warning and Notices are not Errors
 * 3. The code only produces this warning when NONE is selected
 * 4. No changes to that code have been made in over two years so some other thing
   changed at the same time, like your PHP settings on what is displayed or your
   PHP version
 * In any case the undefined variables are fixed in my current test version. But
   you should take step 1 described above.
