Undeletable!

    Don’t have comments enables on my site. So, don’t need this plugin. But can’t delete it! Tried a lot of times – gets deactivated, but doesn’t allow deletion. Help, WordPress!

    @sandip-roy If you can’t delete the plugin, that’s not something that we have control over.

    It sounds like your hosting provider is making Akismet a must-use plugin and may not allow you to remove it.

    You should reach out to your host for help with this. Since they’re hosting your site’s files, they also have access to those files and are the best ones to help you with this. They can either help you remove it or explain why they require it on your site.
