Unexpected server response (206) while retrieving PDF

    Greetings,

    I recently bought the premium version of pdf embedder.

    Most of my pages use the pdf embedder for pdfs. Sometimes, not all the time, a page will display the error, “Unexpected server response (206) while retrieving PDF” for each embedded pdf that doesn’t load.

    This will go away when the page is refreshed and the embedded pdfs will display after the page is refreshed. However, I can’t have outside parties seeing this message when they first click on the page. It’s variable when the pdfs decide not to load and display this message. Sometimes they load fine.

    Any response is greatly appreciated. I am hoping to resolve this issue quickly and I thank you very much for your help.

    That sounds like a bug in the plugin, or perhaps the plugin is configured incorrectly. HTTP 206 is a valid response for partial content, and I can easily see such a response being generated by the server for embedded content.

    You should contact the author of the plugin.

    For pro or commercial product support please contact the author directly on their site.

    As the author is aware, commercial products are not supported in these forums. As you are their customer I am sure they will have no problem supporting you there.
