# Uninstall process

 * The following tables are not removed from the database while uninstalling your
   plugin:
    - defender_lockout
    - defender_lockout_log
 * The following files are not removed from the filesystem:
    - uploads/wp-defender/index.php
 * If the wp-config.php already contained the following rule, it is deleted by your
   plugin:
    `define('DISALLOW_FILE_EDIT', true);` Place plugin defined rules inside
   the wp-config inside a section like inside the htaccess file to not delete other
   settings made by the user itself.
