# Unique breadcrumb issue

 * Hi.
 * I am working on [this](http://iamshawnrice.com/demo/lauviticus/) site.
 * I have a custom page template powering [this](http://iamshawnrice.com/demo/lauviticus/writings)
   page. It displays only descendants of descendants of the ‘writings’ category.
 * I am trying to work out breadcrumb links at the foot of each categorized post,
   but that will link back to this page, as opposed to /categories/the_category,
   as that just gives me excerpts of each post in that category.
 * Is this possible?

 * So I worked out a fairly inelegant but good enough solution: I copied the template
   file used for the ‘writings’ page, saved it as category-writings, and then threw
   in a breadcrumb plugin (Yoast Breadcrumbs to be exact).
