# Unknown files!

 * A few months ago, my site being hacked and tried to clean up and make it more
   secure, but I still get lots of text. files in public_html/wp-content/temp like:
   
   public_html/wp-content/tmp/yrlvkcvj.txt public_html/wp-content/tmp/yrlvkcvw.txt
   public_html/wp-content/tmp/rkrxzcvj.txt public_html/wp-content/tmp/rkrxzcvw.txt
   public_html/wp-content/tmp/osyljcvj.txt public_html/wp-content/tmp/osyljcvw.txt
 * How can I find the file’s source to stop. I tried to delete a few times, but 
   again shows up!

 * It sounds like you cleaned up the symptom of the hack, but not the vector they
   were using to gain entry.
 * Remain calm and carefully follow [this guide](https://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_My_site_was_hacked).
   When you’re done, you may want to implement some (if not all) of [the recommended security measures](https://codex.wordpress.org/Hardening_WordPress).
