# Unknown_token error

 * Hello,
 * My Jetpack is broke and I can’t figure out why. Here is the message I get on 
   my Dashboard:
 * unknown_token: It looks like your Jetpack connection is broken. Try disconnecting
   from WordPress.com then reconnecting.
 * My site is [http://www.whichinvest.com](http://www.whichinvest.com)
 * Anyone have ideas on how to resolve this?

 * Jetpack uses your site’s XML-RPC file to communicate with WordPress.com. Unfortunately
   I cannot access that file on your site at the moment:
    [http://whichinvestmenttrust.com/xmlrpc.php?for=jetpack](http://whichinvestmenttrust.com/xmlrpc.php?for=jetpack)
 * If you use a security plugin to block access to the file, you’ll need to configure
   it to allow incoming and outgoing connections to /xmlrpc.php.
 * If you do not use such plugin, you’ll want to contact your hosting provider and
   ask them if they currently block access to your site’s XML-RPC file via custom
   Mod_Security rules.
