 * I have a question about unloading hardcoded STYLE/SCRIPT for the smart slider
plugin. I am only going to use this plugin on the home page, should I unload
these types of scripts on the rest of the website pages?
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Funloading-hardcoded-style-script%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)

 * [@luanne12](https://wordpress.org/support/users/luanne12/) your question is about
the Pro version, since the Lite one doesn’t allow unloading hardcoded assets.
My suggestion is to unload “Smart Slider” plugin via “Plugins Manager” (from
the plugin’s menu), since it will prevent the plugin from loading completely
on the pages you do not wish it to load and this is better than going through
each CSS/JS file one by one.
 * Local the plugin’s row (in _“Plugins Manager” — “IN FRONTEND VIEW (your visitors)”_)
and within “_Unload this plugin in the front-end:_“, you can choose “_On all
pages_” and then make an exception and make it load “_On the homepage_“.

 * The “Plugins Manager” option is only available for the pro version also.
 * I don’t understand why the “Smart Slider” plugin isn’t listed in the “From Plugins”
section, or any section except the “Hardcoded Styles and Scripts” section on
the backend page edit under “Asset Cleanup: CSS and JavaScript Manager/Page Options”.
