# Unreadable documents

 * When documents that have been posted to my site are open to be either read or
   downloaded the user only sees “junk” code and symbols and can neither download
   or read the document.
 * Fixes I have tried:
 * 1. turned off all plugins to see if there was a plugin causing the trouble – 
   still have the same issue with unreadable documents.
 * 2. Reinstall 3.3.1 WordPress – documents work until machine is turned off and
   then when turned back on the documents are unreadable again.
 * I’m not quite sure how to fix this.
