    Hello,

I’ve never had any trouble with this plugin until now, but the pdf invoice is unreadable with rectangles replacing all the text characters and overlapping lines.

I’ve looked through all the settings but can’t find any way to fix it.

    Many thanks

    Hi @pphq,

This often happens when you migrate your site, or when you or a cleanup process accidentally delete the plugin temp folder, located under wp-content/uploads, maybe one of these things happened recently?

To solve this, please go to WooCommerce > PDF Invoices > Status tab, and click on the Reinstall fonts button. Then, try to open an invoice and check if it looks good.

Thank you this worked a treat! I still have a problem with a solid black rectangle appearing under the address on the top right of both the invoice and the packing slip.

Did you check if you have some HTML code within the Shop Address field, under WooCommerce > PDF Invoices > General?

I’ve checked there, it’s just text. I tried deleting this text (so there is no address at all) but I’ve still got the black rectangle.

Could you please send me also the HTML output source to see if we can handle this through a code snippet? To do it, just add &output=html at the end of your invoice/packing slip URL, then Right-click > Save as…, and save it as HTML. You can use https://www.file.io/ to upload the file and share the file URL here.

    Hi,

I’ve uploaded the files here: https://file.io/h0L7OOluGaET

I hid the customers details, but unchanged apart from that.

    Thank you

Thanks for uploading that file. I have realized that the issue is producing by your logo image. This is because, although Our PDF engine has limited supports SVGs, it often produces issue with complex vector images.

In your case, my recommendation is to convert your SVG image into JPG or PNG, that works much better. I went ahead and convert your logo for you: https://file.io/SmkH3YQA0zUR

Please note that file.io will delete the file after first downloading.

Thanks for confirming that it is fixed now, @pphq!

If you don’t mind and have the time, do you think you could leave us a review?

Thanks in advance and all the best with your store!
