it seems your settings stored in the database are corrupt. Ad Inserter settings are stored in the ad_inserter option in the wp_options table in the database. To restore Ad Inserter settings you need to copy this option from some backup.
Alternatively you can Reset All Settings.
I see the following error on my site.

Afterwards, we do Reset All Settings from the settings section and the plugin error goes away. 1-2 weeks after placing the ads, it starts giving the same error again.
