Untested with my wp version

    I am using “Classic editor”, want to add “table of contents” plugin, but for your plugin ” Easy table of contents” it shows – Untested with your version of WordPress.
    Now what to do? which plugin should i use?

    The plugin works fine with WordPress 5.8.

    i added “Easy Table of contents” plugin.
    Then checked the “Posts” option(in automatic also) in settings & saved. TOC options appeared at bottom of post & i clicked all the headings & UPDATED the post, but no TOC appeared in POST.
    Then tried to clear cache by “purge all” in Clear cache plugin & then in my browser as well but nothing happened.
    Pl. advice.
