    If I update to 2.9.2 from my current version, does it cause any data loose?

 * Not if all goes well of course 🙂
 * But if you’re talking about modifications you made to WP core files, the standard
   theme or standard plugins, these files will be overwritten by the new versions.

 * There should not be any data lose but do not forget to take complete backup before
   upgrading the version.
