 * Hello, When I add a new shortcode in a post and it gives me a shortcode like
   this: [tipjarwp id=”8″]
    Is there a way to make changes to the settings after
   it has been created?
 * Thank you and have an amazing day!

 * Hey [@deyson](https://wordpress.org/support/users/deyson/),
 * Yes you can edit a shortcode after it’s been entered. There are some instructions
   on that here:
    [https://tipjarwp.com/getting-started-with-tip-jar-wp/#showing-the-payment-form-on-your-website](https://tipjarwp.com/getting-started-with-tip-jar-wp/#showing-the-payment-form-on-your-website)
 * Do you know if you are using the Classic Editor, or the Block Editor? The instructions
   will bit slightly different for each, which is why I ask.

 * I am using the classic. The reason I ask is that if I want to go back and change
   the text in the top I have to create a new shortcode.
 * My goal is to have a shortcode that does ‘not’ have a recurring payment option.
 * Thank you and have an amazing day!

 * [@deyson](https://wordpress.org/support/users/deyson/) Hmm that’s strange. Once
   you have clicked on “Create new Tip Jar Shortcode” and saved the post, when you
   go to edit that post in the future, you should see a button which says “Edit
   Shortcode”. When you click on it, it should allow you to edit the details of
   that shortcode, which in your case here is the one with the id of “8”.
 * Are you seeing that button on your end?

 * Hello,
    I was not saving the Post after I created the shortcode since I am using
   the shortcode in an Elementor Widget to use sitewide.
 * The shortcode creator on the setting page does not allow us to remove the recurring
   payment option.
 * Thank you and have a great day.
