 * Thanks for amazing plugin.
    With “Insert Fixit Tools v1.12” i use tab “Post/Page
   Insert Image Tag Attribute Modification” Ok… i replaced (or added) an HTML attribute
   like “alt text” or “title for images” But.. How can i add or replace the images
   <figcaption> ? My theme uses shortcode. For Example [caption id="attachment_75308"
   align="aligncenter" width="650"] …img src=”[https://www.domain.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/filename.jpg&#8221](https://www.domain.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/filename.jpg&#8221);
   alt=”” width=”650″ height=”487″ …. Caption text here [/caption]
 * I read here [https://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_figcaption.asp](https://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_figcaption.asp)
   ● “HTML <figcaption> Tag”
    Html code is: [http://prntscr.com/robff5](http://prntscr.com/robff5)
 * So… how to use “Insert Fixit Tools v1.12″ to replace or add image caption from
   media library
    i tried this [http://prntscr.com/robbcd](http://prntscr.com/robbcd)
   and many other tests. With this added inside img html code something like this:
   figcaption=”caption text”
 * Sorry for my bad english
    Thanks for amazing plugina and tools

 * Thanks for the positive feedback regarding the plugin and for your question.
   Thanks as well for the example text and links to your tests.
 * The “Post/Page Insert Image Tag Attribute Modification” tools will only work
   with attributes within the `< img >`tags in the source text of your posts/pages.
   As your w3schools page documents, `< figcaption >’ is a separate HTML tag, not
   an attribute, so the existing tools won’t help you.
 * WordPress now uses the `< figure >` and `< figcaption >` tags to surround its
   image and image gallery inserts. The current MLA Insert Fixit example plugin
   doesn’t have any tools for modifying the captions in these inserts, but I can
   add them. However, you wrote “**_My theme uses shortcode_**” and you gave a partial
   listing of the source text for one example. This looks like it is theme-specific
   and not the same approach as the WordPress standard. Is that right?
 * If so, I am not sure I can implement a theme-specific solution for you. It would
   be helpful if you tell me which theme you are using, and if it is a free or a
   premium theme. I hope you appreciate that I cannot afford to purchase themes
   and plugins just to support my own free plugin.
 * It would also be helpful if you can post the full source text of one or more
   pages/posts containing the inserts you want to modify. You can use the Code Editor
   to display the raw content.
 * I will leave this topic unresolved until I get more information from you. Thanks
   for your interest in the plugin.

 * Hi and tanks for your time.
    Yes.. the theme is sahifa theme (premium)
 *     ```
       [caption id="attachment_192492" align="aligncenter" width="660"]
       <a href="https://www.domain.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">
       <img src="https://www.domain.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/filename.jpg" width="660" height="242" class="wp-image-192492 size-full" title="title image text" alt="title image alt" /></a> Some words for caption=figcaption=figure   [/caption]
       ```
 * Many times href `href <a>..<a/>` does not exist
 * Thanks for the additional information and for your positive MLA review. Good
   reviews are a great motivation to keep working on the plugin and supporting its
   users.
 * I have added `< figcaption >` tools to the MLA Insert Fixit example plugin for
   my next version. However, as I noted in my earlier post your application uses
   a different, theme-specific notation to provide similar features. I cannot think
   of a way to support your application in a general way that would be of use to
   other MLA users.
 * I might be able to adapt my code and give you a private solution. Please [contact me at my web site](http://davidlingren.com/#two)
   for more information. Thanks for your understanding and for inspiring an MLA
   enhancement.
 * Thanks.
    Keep working for all the WP community. I will change manual or create
   again some of my posts-gallerys.
 * Thanks for letting me know that you’ll resolve your issue without further MLA
   work. I wish you every success with your application.
 * I am marking this topic resolved, but please update it or start another if I
   can help you make better use of MLA. Thanks again for motivating the `< figcaption
   >` enhancements.
